Carmen directs a drama, "The Death of a Miner"

This powerful, compelling and cinematically told drama is written by Paula Cizmar about a woman coal miner’s death and the politics of fighting a union for death benefits that are typically left for widows. Told with honesty, drama, and humor. What does a family do? Stay and fight, or give up? Either way, life goes on. This story is as relevant today as when it was written in 1983.
